Title: Looking for a Westinghouse Select-O-Matic. Houston Texas
Post by: jbachman2 on November 10, 2011, 11:30:47 am
I'm looking for either a Westinghouse WC-78-MD or a Westinghouse WC-102-MD.  I've seen one or two on Craigslist the past couple of months but one seemed really expensive and the other looks kinda toasty.  Is there anyone in the area that has one that they are willing to part with?

I have a WC102md and love it. Check out the San Antonio CL I think there are a couple of the 78's on there. They have been on there for a very long time so I bet you can get them to come down on  the price some.

I think this is the machine he mentioned above.

They did have it listed at $275 a couple months ago, been on CL for a while.

It works for me, but they re-listed the machine again today but the price is now $325.

the second link works, the first is dead, anyway... not bad, but beware that I don't see the coinmechs wiring connector in this picture,( could be the wiring's been cut-off)  nor do they show any inside shots ( missing the guts?) other than it has a holes in the side for the water fountain, ( you'll be doing some welding to patch it) be sure that the vending motor works & the compressor runs..  I'd ask a lot of questions before even driving out to see this one.

Now that I have my 78 I am limiting my current searches to Houston only.  Everywhere where else in Texas is at least 3 hours away.  I've told my outta state friends that you can't get out of Texas without a plan
