Title: New Stuff Post by: Zach on October 17, 2011, 10:05:54 pm Got some new signs today! I got the Grapette thermometer, Up-Town Thermometer and the Pepsi Cola sign. Had a blast getting these from a guy that lived close by, about had a heart attack seeing all his other signs but was able to come home with these. Anybody know about the Up-town thermometer I can't find anything on it?

Very cool score. Title: Re: New Stuff Post by: jbrooks on October 18, 2011, 07:30:18 am Nice stuff, I like the Pepsi sign. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have only seen newer Pepsi bottle cap signs, are these reproductions of an old sign Pepsi actually used?

Title: Re: New Stuff Post by: Zach on October 18, 2011, 07:58:10 pm Hey thanks guys, the Pepsi sign is original and was made by Stout. As far as the thermometers I'm pretty sure their original but not sure, anyone know if these were reproduced and how to tell them apart?
Title: Re: New Stuff Post by: cokecolaman on October 18, 2011, 08:35:49 pm is the bottom left sign a re-pop? I think I have seen those re-done
Title: Re: New Stuff Post by: Zach on October 18, 2011, 08:51:55 pm Yea the bottom left two are definitely a repops, on the far left thats a 16" coke button, and the dp sign is original as well. And thats also my 48" coke button I picked up awhile ago, that thing is hard to find a place in the house where it just blends in.

I can imagine. I have a few 36" buttons. Two are in the den. They take up more than their share of space. |
