Title: Vendo 83 Post by: Ken R on October 02, 2011, 12:30:53 pm Here's a Vendo 83 that looks like is in really good shape. Reasonable price maybe? Thought I'd post in case anyone was interested or might be in OKC area and can take a look at it.

Title: Re: Vendo 83 Post by: RC kid on October 05, 2011, 07:00:49 pm Vendo 83s are cool machines, but rather large. Most people don't even consider them when purchasing an old soda machine. I would expect to pay $800.00 for one in this condition in my neck of the woods. $500.00 and I would pick it up to resale later.
But I also have a tendency to pay to much for my machines. Yeah Bob - I've been in touch with Darin. He is missing the drum, vend mechanism and other interior parts. It is nice looking, but.... Strange too - he has a Westinghouse cooling system in it. I've never run across a Vendo or other make of machine (other than Westinghouse machines) with a Westinghouse cooling system installed. Not even close if it's missing all that. Title: Re: Vendo 83 Post by: RC kid on October 06, 2011, 05:59:13 pm I have all of the interior parts for a Vendo 83. Drum included.
Title: Re: Vendo 83 Post by: Slider-Bob on October 06, 2011, 06:31:58 pm Tom...I guess there are 3 sides to every story...His side, her side, and the truth! Thanks for answering Darin's questions...
He said it was complete and original...even had the original key. I never saw pics of the inside...just the craigslist post of the outside.
