Title: Looking for a USS 8-64 or Similar Close to Baton Rouge Area Post by: RetroMe on September 23, 2011, 02:03:10 pm I have come to the conclusion the area around the state of Louisiana is a totally void of vintage ANYTHING. I envy you guys in the Mid West and North East...seems like you live in a Pickers heaven. I have been searching for over 6 months for a USS-8-64 machine or something similar and have yet to locate anything that is not totally junk or the seller thinks they are worth $1200. I would like to acquire one for my garage and be a everyday usage type machine. So sending out some feelers to you guys in hopes of locating one.

If you are interested I can pull it out and look more closely at it, or if you want, come look in person, you might find something else you want!

They asking $300, but I know it would go for less than that. Says the cooling needs some work. Not sure exactly what that means though. I thought I'd seen a couple up in the Shreveport area as well.
