Title: Is he serious? or is a serious typo error?
Post by: collecture on September 12, 2011, 03:53:18 pm
Read the description - he states "If you want a perfectly restored machine, then he would direct you to the $5000 machines", and that he will accept cash offers below the opening bid amount of $2,450,000.000. Did he mean to put $2,450.00? Another person with TV goggles on!

Yes, I'd bet typo, and a large one at that.  How do you post an auction and miss that? Considering the seller writes," ...it is the most inconic vending machine in history", I say it's a typo.

Yes, I agree... Rick either restored it, or consulted the guy as to the value of it!

If Rick restored it he would have turned it into a Cavalier 72

I asked the guy if he made a mistake and this is his reply;  Dear webnetauctions,

Why? Was that too much?

Seriously....I've never made that kind of mistake on ebay before...thanks for pointing it out. I meant 250,000.

I made the change.

Guess this guy has a problem with comas and periods, it's $2450 now.
Sure I'll place a bid on an item with no picture.  :help:

Even at $2450, he still has blurry TV goggles on!
