Title: A Jacabs 56 in grerat original condition that works Post by: bcharlton on September 09, 2011, 08:36:45 am I just found another old car I would like to buy but the wife has asked me to make a choice with some of my soda machines. I have a Jacobs 56 in great unrestored condition. I rewired it and everything works and it vend on a dime and gets cold. Here is a picture. I heard they are worth almost $4000 in working unrestored original condition. With the economy the way it has been, is this still the case?

I have a machine that I want to work on, but I'm not doing a complete resto on it, just getting it up and running. I'm almost there, just looking for a small little steel ball that goes under the verticle vending drum (VMC-149). I like the original look when it has a nice "patina", as they put it. About to get the V-216 up running so I can get it out of here. Be sure to post pics when it's completed!!
