Title: My Stoner candy machine
Post by: detroittvguy on August 30, 2011, 05:21:13 pm

Here's a pic of my Stoner candy machine. I found it in an alley behind a bar in Sothwest Detroit about 30 years ago, I have two questions about it.

1. Was the original mirror bevelled?

2. Below the mirror and above the candy window is an embossed piece of metal that says "Fresh Candy." What goes in the hole that is in the middle?  Thanks for any responses.

Nice machine.. the mirror just had a finished edge... and a business card went in
I'm sure someone here can get you those pieces.. If I still had mine I'd copy the card for you
maybe someone here can do that for you... Check eBay for a mirror or again someone here
I'm sure can sell you one or get you one made from theirs.

Nice  looks like a Stoner 180 with gum selector, but it looks like you are missing the candy display rack

Hi Detroittvguy,

It's cool to have all the parts I just had to make some display glass brackets (thanks Jim) If you like I can make you a template of the mirror off my 180,  I also live in the metro Detroit area. Let me know

Ray

I've got everything but the mirror.
Any decent glass/mirror shop close by can cut the mirror for $20...
