Title: VMC 44 vs. vendo 44

What is the differance in these 2 machines. Is one more valuable than the other

     The only difference is the chrome coin entry plate on the Vendo and for this reason only it is MUCH more sought after than it's twin sister the VMC 44.
      I have always wondered why the parts guys don't try and reproduce a similar bezel that would brighten up the VMC.

Coin mechs are different as well. The V-44 liner is plastic and the VMC-44 liner is stamped out of metal. The rear shaft on the VMC-44 mech is longer than the V-44 mech because they could mold the plastic deeper than they could stamp the metal.

Good info Tom , I too never knew the liner differences and coin mech... but then again have never had a VMC one?...

The VMC-88 mech is the same as the VMC-44 mech for the same reason - metal liner.
