Title: Marquee Light on a Cavalier USS-8-64
Post by: razorback on August 22, 2011, 04:16:42 pm
Hello everyone,
I am new, just purchased a Cavalier USS-8-64. Was listed on local craigslist, it originally came from Little Rock, AR Coca Cola bottling plant. It works great and has all the parts, but the light on the marquee does not work, can someone tell me how to remove the light bulb. Also, I need to replace one of the selector knobs, anyone know how they come off? Thanks for any help.

If you open the coin door, there are two phillips head screws underneath the marquee, remove those, then the sign should come out bottom first.  There are two pins in the top, the bottom has two pressure tabs, so it might take a little prying to get it out.

The selector knobs come out from the inside, there are two (maybe three) screws at the front side of each selector that hold them in.  You should be able to get a shorter phillips head in there and get them off.

If you need a couple photos for help, I can snap some.
