Title: Ideal Coin Changer
Post by: David D on August 21, 2011, 03:52:18 pm
Any idea what's so special about this Ideal Coin Changer?   Don't these usually go for ~$100.

I'm guessing these coin changers are going for a mint at the moment??  8)  I'll have to keep an eye out for them then.

Something fishy going on here.  I never have seen one sell for more than $200, let alone $400.  Also, take a look at this...a cap catcher from the same seller as the coin mechanism and it sold for $204.?  C'mon...get real!

Maybe he's jacking up his own prices to show an increase in value for the items???

I just sold one pretty beat up for 350... when someone wants one bad enough and no else where to  look.. they might think better buy it or I'll never get one.?

Good for us who are sellers/ restorers :happydrinkers:  SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!

Ok.  Point taken...but a cap catcher for $204???

Cap catchers for Ideal 55 sliders are far easier to come by than a 55 coin mech, and they even sell re-pops of those cap catchers.  Typically they sell used for $40-50, unless they are for an Ideal 35, which can fetch around $100.  $204 seems too good to be true for a 55 cap catcher, but lucky for me...I've got about 5 of them!  I think they are worth 5-6k if restored!  LOL
