Title: Cavalier and Dixie-narco coke machines
Post by: nvfd3052 on August 18, 2011, 02:54:15 pm
Hi there, new here to the smc and to owning coke machines. I recently got my hands on a Dixie-narco DN 300/175-5 and a cavalier c6-168, and Im hooked. They both work great, but need minor restoration work. I want to keep one for myself and sell the other one. What are these worth as is, and properly done up? I think I will keep the cav for myself, it looks great in my garage. I have looked all over for info about it but have come up empty handed. Any info would be great. I am posting this from a iPhone because I do not have a computer, and it is not letting me post pics, so if I could get help with this first... Thanks in advance

They both look to be pretty clean as they are. There wouldn't be any reason to do any restoration work from what I can see (unless they need some mechanical work, which it doesn't sound like it.) It is nice that they are can machines, perfect for the garage. They look big. Maybe about $100 each? Not sure. I like the stylestar sign on the one with three chutes.

The red paint on the door of the Dixie looks like somebody took a wire brush to it and the cav has the wood sticker stuff on the door coming off, that's about all I would do to them. I got them vending both cans and bottles.
