Title: How rare are the Westinghouse Jr. electric coolers?
Post by: vintage-air on August 15, 2011, 06:41:42 pm
I have a chance to buy one locally in it's original paint WITH THE ORIGINAL CAP CATCHER FOR $400. Looks really nice with no rust or dents anywhere. What do you guys think? I believe these had stainless steel liners instead of the galvanized tubs.

Make sure the inner bottle rack/tray is there.

I paid a lot more for mine, with out the cap catcher, and a homemade bottle tray/holder. Then the market went phhhht

If you are looking to flip, you won't make much. With the repro Westinghouse coolers, the market isn't there anymore .

Is it a electric Westinghouse Junior or Vendo Junior?
If Westinghouse, what rack are you talking about Jim?

Yes - it is a water bath, but no circulation motor.
