Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Cokemachinesandmore on August 15, 2011, 05:52:29 pm is that a rick dale special
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: cokecolaman on August 15, 2011, 06:30:02 pm I think it looks okay...I wouldn't mind owning something like that if the price was right...and they made enough Vendo 39's that it wouldn't bother me that they abused one to turn it into a 7up machine.
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: rayg on August 15, 2011, 06:46:00 pm Quote from Ebay ad "This is machine only no drum or insides." Wow how many would it be worth with all the wroking parts at least $3,000~4,000 easy :Oo:
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Kilroy on August 15, 2011, 06:48:02 pm Kinda cool, but add another 375 for the drum and who knows what else is needed.
Can't tell, did they weld in an embossed logo? Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Kilroy on August 15, 2011, 06:50:02 pm Ok, no coin mech, no vend handle, and doesn't mention if there is even a compressor, my guess no.
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Jim on August 15, 2011, 07:40:11 pm It's the same seller selling the $3,500 Vendo Coin Changer...
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Matt on August 15, 2011, 08:09:57 pm Thanks but no thanks. It's one thing to convert a non-embossed machine. It's a crime to turn a Coke machine into anything else. :oh:
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: vintage-air on August 15, 2011, 08:55:53 pm I think it ugly. And I really like 7up stuff too.
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: mznb1u on August 16, 2011, 12:08:48 am is that a rick dale special No that's not a Rick Dale special. Rick would restore that machine and turn it into a Coca Cola Cav 72! 8) :drinking: Tim :drinking: Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: SIGNGUY on August 16, 2011, 09:41:36 am I dont think it's that bad,, and agree with a comment about so many of them around , not feeling too bad about someone converting it to something else.. I've seen a Squirt on in Chicago a few years back too. it looked pretty cool.
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: Cokemachinesandmore on August 16, 2011, 10:47:01 am that squirt was pretty nice looking
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: loman4ec on August 16, 2011, 02:20:30 pm He just sent me a message saying there is no cooling system and no liner and no insulation. They powdercoated the inside as a cabinet. The logo's are decals. What a Tool. Its too bad he spent that kind of money on having it done as he will never get back out of it. I told him the last time I sold a V39 empty cabinet it sold for $50 and that is the gods honest truth. Good luck getting $1,500 for it
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: BONOVOX on August 16, 2011, 02:44:50 pm But his ad says "rare"! If he says it's rare... IT HAS TO BE RARE! :glare:
Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: halehouse on August 16, 2011, 06:31:42 pm But his ad says "rare"! If he says it's rare... IT HAS TO BE RARE! :glare: And it's professionally restored! If something is "restored", isn't it, by definition, returned to its original state? Title: Re: V39 7UP Post by: BONOVOX on August 16, 2011, 09:59:13 pm unless its been restored at AMERICAN RESTORATION by Rick lol
