Title: Westinghouse Jr
Post by: coke_and_stuff on August 03, 2011, 09:05:25 pm
I have had a few of these but stopped buying them after they were reproduced. I picked this one up the other day it is the most solid rust free and dent free Jr I have seen. One small dent where the bottle opener is mounted. However it has been gutted no tub or lid. Whats the ballpark on this cooler?

I bought a pair of them locally (but off eBay) for $100 ($50 each). Both missing cap catchers, but all else there. Since the repop, not a lot of interest in them. The guy I bought from had had them listed on CL and finally eBay for 1-2 months
Hey - a Junior Cap Catcher just sold for &177.50, so not a lot of value in the cooler.  :tounge:
Neat little coolers, but missing all that - I'd say $75.

Since its gutted it would make a nice bar. Put a hinged counter top on it and use the cooler for storage. I have seen them do well on ebay with Ideal 55's instead of JR's. Just a thought.
