I thought the V-80 utilizes the same cap catcher as the other "large" door machines...? I cannot believe someone doesn't have an original... Perhaps a reproduction in stainless would work...? The parts diagram in the Service Manual shows a catcher very similar to the V-81D model. The cap catcher was missing out of my V-80 when I got it also. I asked around back then and that's what I was told. So that is what I have in mine and it fits perfectly
