To all Vernors Fan's

FYI-Take from Craigslist listing :  http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/clt/2427267203.html

Don't miss the annual Vernor's Club event in downtown Pontiac, the Vernor's AdVenture! It takes place July 23, 2011 from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Vernor's Room in the Crofoot Ballroom. There will be Vernor's memorabilia for sale, Vernor's history presentations, Vernor's floats, an author signing of the book Vernor's Ginger Ale, the Vernor's Float Drinking Contest, and the largest display of Vernors Soda Fountain dispensers ever assembled! The best part is, the event is free. You don't have to be a Vernor's Club member to attend. The copy of the flyer below is hard to read. Email me and I'll email you a copy for free. If you want a high resolution paper copy, email me and send me $1.00 and you'll receive one by mail.

Like Pat said, it was ok.  I don't think I'll be going this year though.  I just sold my complete Ideal 55 Vernors for $500 to a guy who drove all night from Minnesota to Michigan and picked it up at 6am this morning. He had to have it!  On a side note, there is another guy selling a generic Vernors Ideal 55 and wants $2000 for it.  It's missing the coin mech and the rack.  I called and asked if it was a typo ($2000 vs $200).  He said no, and I told him he was way off base and told him it's worth $200.  He was cool and said thanks...he admitted he really had no idea what it's worth.  So, if anyone is interested, here's the link.
