Title: ICY-O Finished, Finally Post by: lynful on June 22, 2011, 01:04:19 pm Finally dug out a Icy-O in the back of my warehouse. Being threatning to restore it for a couple of decades! Found it in a junk pile at Jeff Walters place in Calif. back in the mid 80's. Jeff said he would give it to me if I could get it back to Texas. Can't locate my "before" pics, but it was a hunk of junk - been dropped and all four legs crunched up, rust holes , large dents and the top unusable. But all major pieces were there. Got OshGosh Ron (old timers remember him?) to haul it to Texas were it sit for the next 23yrs or so. Much thanks to Dennis Harrup of VA. for all his pics, help and advise on the restoration. If anyone is doing a Icy-O I'll be glad to help with getting you in contact for parts, signs, cranks,cap catcher or whatever if you get in touch. Only problem I have now is the tub is a little over 33in across and the door to my "machine room" is 32in.
