I have seen them go for $500 and up. If working and a good deal, buy it.

I agree with Brian. They are gaining popularity , don't require much space, and pac Man fans will always be out there

You can get parts for them also. Did you see the one they restored on pawn stars?

I've got a guy with one that wants to do a partial trade and cash for a machine I'm selling . I've always wanted one and I've got fond memories of playing them at Pizza Hut back in the day  :tounge: Thanks

check the screen for burn,  power it up and play a game or two, the joystick should be repsonsive, not loose, the graphics sharp, oh, you know the drill

Zadd if you decide to get it here's a link to a good web site arcade machine with allot of good how to videos and info http://www.arcaderepairtips.com/  I found it helpful when I was working on my Police trainer video game.  Also ask if the board is original or a after market, that affects the value allot.

Here's a site with allot of good forums & info (close to the arcade verse of soda-machines.com but not as friendly)

Guy says he's has had all the electronics and screen redone . He says the graphics and cabinet are in excellent condition . Will see . he's going to bring it with him when he comes to look at my machine hopefully on Sunday .

I'm not much of a cocktail table fan.. most of them are fairly boring looking to me. I prefer the artwork on the stand up machines. I think $500 is a bit high... I'd try to buy for a lot less--$300?. Pac Man uprights I've seen for less than $500 in good shape..
