Have another question. Below too the left of the slug rejector cover, there is a hole, size of a nickel. When I took it apart, there was two wires, I guess went through the hole. They were cut off. There was a rubber grommet in the hole. What are the wires for? I can not find anything that would be wired behind the small door. Thanks Mike

 It was Probably For A Heater that was Installed On the Rejector To Stop it from Freezing in the Winter

Those wires you found in the rubber grommet used to connect to the heater resister that originally mounted to the upper left of the slug rejector, yours have been removed/cut out of the machine, look below your door near the lower hinge area on the inside, you should see the old wire there too, but if they still run over to the main electrical harness near the compressor, use caution, as they may still be "hot" ( electrically connected to the line voltage) & present a shock hazard.

The resister were often removed from the machine & the wiring cut when the resister burnt out, or the owner burnt his fingers when poking around inside the coindoor area!  The heaters were originally used to keep the coinmech from frosting up & help remove any condensation from the slug rejector in humid conditions. for home use now a days, they are obsolete & are often disconnected. ( although they may still be physically present inside the coindoor area for cosmetic correctness in a restoration of a machine, they are typically disconnected down at the bottom of the main door)

Thanks for the information. Close to being done with the restore. Finish wiring today, everthing works so far. Still looking for roller gates. If I can find one for the 81, I will machine the other 8. Thanks Mike
