Title: Westinghouse cooler Post by: MoonDawg on May 14, 2011, 09:08:14 am We all know of a lot of these chests turned into trailers or couches but this has got to be the nicest conversion I have ever seen, and doesn't seem to be priced too high considering all the work that must have been involved.

Maybe powdercoat the box, use high temp insulation and vinyl lettering? The charing of the inside would also be a cleaning nightmare.

Yep I would think no matter what you did it would bubble the paint. Especially with Charcoal since it gets so hot inside. It would have been smarter to put in a gas burner and make it propane and the paint would probably survive. Cool idea though.
