There is a nice gas pump going up for sale near me.  Was actually in use until a couple of years ago.  I don't think I have any interest but I would be curious in what kind of value it has.  Also, if anyone else has interest, I can get more pics and info, its only a mile from my office.  One of my sons thinks we should redo it and put it in his room.  Mom's not so keen on that idea.

Tokheims are a nice pump, easy to restore too... I like your sons idea... cool that he likes it at this young age,,, great to keep the hobby alive..

I'd pick it up, and since he's so interested in it do a father son project and give it to him... just think what it might be worth when he gets older? plus the memories will be great!

I can tell you form experience a restored pump looks awesome next to a jukebox.

Pumps are fun, easier to restore, I finally tracked down another Gilbarco to match the one out in front of my shop. Im going to restore it as a Ethyl and have a match set.

That is one of my favorite pumps. My dad found a stash of a couple dozen of them when I was younger. He did them all in Sinclair and Phillips 66. I remember there being an army of restored pumps in our garage. I bet there were very bit of 25 or 30 pumps all done in the two types. There were so cool.

We wanted to hook one up on our driveway and run air to it and put a pressure washer inside and change out the hose and use it to wash our cars with. The housing association didn't agree with us. They were such idiots that they said they were afraid we would be selling gas instead. We tried to tell them and show them that they were empty inside and were antique but they were too dense to understand.
