Title: RC 81 VMC PIC Post by: BONOVOX on April 19, 2011, 06:23:20 pm Hi all.
Just wanted to thank this board for ALL the info that I have obtained over the short time that I have been a member, and to post a pic of my "boys" all lined up for the last time till they meet their brother 7up one day I hope. As well, having recently purchased the RC 81 from a board member, I thought I would show the back side of the machine if anyone needs a pic of that for reference, or curiosity. Again, thanks to all! Here are some pics that the seller sent to me before I picked it up. Whoever did the resto, did a GREAT job! ANyone have an idea how to read the serial number tags? As well, I remember reading once somewhere regestering a RC 81 in some kind of a database, to maybe see just how many of these there really are. Thanks for sharing the pictures Title: Re: RC 81 VMC PIC Post by: MoonDawg on April 21, 2011, 08:24:39 pm Nice line-up! Not many sellers would let you peel the liner back to prove it was the real deal. :happydrinkers:

No, Im sure not many sellers would let ANYONE peel a liner back to check, yet as I've stated in other posts, this seller, (from the site) is a standup guy! We made the deal for the machines, and agreed that if it were not to be a real machine, I was not obligated to buy it. As well, if it were real, yet we broke the machine in any manner, or scratched it etc, then I still had to buy it, which was fair. He understood my concerns, and he did not doubt for a moment that it was NOT the real deal, so why not let me look right?!? :o) It still had the original yellow on the inside, along with glue/tar that held the original insulation.... Once I saw the back, it was game on! I mean, I would buy a CRUSH machine without looking at the back, cause I know they are ALL real! ;o) (Truth be told, I LOVE the way those CRUSH machines look.... must resist though lol |
