Title: Vendorlator 110 (roundtop) lock Post by: cokecolaman on April 14, 2011, 06:49:29 pm I just picked up a VMC 110 (Pepsi) and the main door just opened right up. So now I have the main door open and I have the key for the lock, but it doesn't seem to engage the handle to "pop" open. I have access to the back panel (main door liner)...is there any way to help that lock pop open or do I have to drill the lock out?

The lock's cam is a teardrop shape and you may have to hold the key in the unlock position while you pivot the lock assembly out.
If all else fails, you do have access to the backside of the lock from behind the liner. When I take the door liner off, what should I be looking for? Is it going to jump out at me and be obvious or do I have to take stuff apart to get where I need to go?

I found an old pic of what you'll see... |
