Title: Fanta question Post by: scalebowler on March 15, 2011, 11:31:02 pm I was watching some drive-in intermission commercials and I found one for Fanta that seemed a little strange. I know of fanta as being carbonated but in the video they have it being dispensed from a Jet spray machine. Was fanta origionally not carbonated or did they just decide to use that machine for their commercial? Here is the link to the video. I have it set up to where it will just start right at the Fanta commercal http://www.archive.org/details/DriveInIntermission20?start=592 Would be kind of neat to get one of those machine sometime.

Look for drive In Intermission #2 between 3:00 and 4:00 minutes. My guess it is an attractive way to show off the product coming from a nice dispenser. I do know that originally, Coca-Cola wa non-carbonated back in 1886 until someone *accidentally* mixed it with carbonated water (or that's how the story goes). |
