A Green Bay, WI TV station went over to Shawano, WI to visit the Sun-Drop bottling plant, which bottles SD in returnable glass and is made with sugar. The best Sun-Drop ever! Not sure if they are the last bottler of Sun Drop in returnable bottlers. I recently spoke with a gentleman from Sun Drop out Gastonia, North Carolina who told me they still ran returnables too. Sun-Drop is go popular that they also go through a small semi trailer of non-returnable glass bottles from West Jefferson DP every month during the summer!
