Title: Have you ever found coins in your old machine? Post by: vintage-air on February 27, 2011, 03:30:13 pm Guys, purchased an old vendo 56 last week and found 30 silver dimes stuck behind the coin bezel. 16 of them are Mercury dimes. Current melt value for silver is around $2.42 per dime. Multiply that by 30 at that's about $75 worth of coins. Check out the pictures below. I love finding surprises in these old machines!

Post by: loman4ec on February 27, 2011, 05:13:50 pm I found a bunch in a C51 when I was a kid and my Dad was building machines. Also in the condenser cover I found a 1960's "SuperBall" Since I was born in 1981 I thought it was really cool and played with it for years. I have never seen a bouncy ball that bounced like that one.
