Title: E-Bay Vendo 80
Post by: glenp87 on February 25, 2011, 01:49:17 pm
Anyone know the person selling this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/1950s-REFURBISHED-WORKING-VENDO-80-COKE-MACHINE-/250779220988?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a639b3bfc

Need to tell him overspray on the coin mech (among a number of other issues like a V-80 does not have room to pre-cool 17 bottles) does not constitute the following:

This is a completely refurbished late 1950's highly collectible Vendo 80 Coca-Cola vending machine. A rare find. Cools and works perfectly. Large embossing on a two-tone red and white paint scheme. 58" high, 27" wide, 16" deep, 314 lbs.
Vends 80 bottles, pre-cools 17 bottles, has an electric coin mechanism, and vends 1 selection of a bottled beverage.
Bottles still available at grocery stores.
Completely clean inside and out with original parts. All keys available.
M# EJK9400106-2
LOCAL PICKUP PREFERRED. CRATING AND SHIPPING CAN ARRANGED AT BUYER'S EXPENSE.

Looks original. Not worth 4 grand, and with that new thing called the internet, it's really easy to research values.
