Intrastate Distributors Inc. in Detroit in the last year or so acquired the Towne Club Soda brand and they are now selling it in 16oz glass bottles--suggested retail 99cents which is a far cry from the $2.16 a case back in the day! I saw some in a store in South Lyon the other day so I decided to do a bit of research today and contacted IDI to get the low down. I am going to get some to see it it will vend from the USS 64. Another interesting fact that I discovered on my call is that IDI recently acquired the Frostie Root Beer brand and they are marketing it locally in glass bottles. I have seen that in my local Busch's supermarket along with Frostie Orange, Frostie Creme Soda and one other flavor. Thought I would pass it along for what it's worth! They Have Sprite , Pepsi , Diet Pepsi Sun Drop, Ski, Bubble up , Towne Club , Nehi and many others .
