Title: my first buy: Westinghouse WD-10 cooler Post by: throwbackkid on January 31, 2011, 05:51:15 pm hello all! i recently just got my first refrigerated coke item: a westinghouse wd-10 dry cooler. i know that this cooler has been restored mechanically within the past 20 years, and it runs perfectly. i can take more pictures if you want. i plan on sand blasting (or walnut-shell blasting) the inside racks that sit on the bottom. overall, i think that was a good buy!

i paid 450$ for it, which is a little high, but worth it in my opinion because it has no rust. I'd love to find one of those for my backporch and would ditch the glasco.. It has more space than a slider and personally think it looks cooler!
Great score! Title: Re: my first buy: Westinghouse WD-10 cooler Post by: Pat Pixley on January 31, 2011, 09:16:48 pm Well you did well and your happy with it that what counts , And Welcome to the site

Congrats and enjoy! Be careful, my first machine turned into 6 machines with no signs of stopping. Have fun with it!
