Went to look at a nice uncommon slider (which I will get next week and you'll have to wait to see it because I have no pics).

The guy also has a 1964 Williams Stop N Go pinball that has a loud humming sound coming from the left side when plugged in - it needs refurbishment - all the rubber is cracked or broken, backglass has fading and mild cracking, cabinet sides are faded and scratched up. Anyone have any ideas of value on it?

Also there is a Seeburg Select 100 that is in a generic wooden box with vents on the sides (no coin related functions on the main unit), a pair of wired speakers and a remote wallbox. Values on it? I would be buying this to flip.

Also, what specific areas should I be looking for on both?

DON"T go after that pinball unless you know exactly how to fix it.
Or you have someone who knows how. They are very finicky and can
get out of adjustment just by transporting home. W/O pics, hard to say
on value, $100-150. Most are only worth less than $400 despite what
Pawn Stars, American pickers say.

The Seeburg sounds like a Library Unit,  not really popular, you could make  money paring it out.
 Depending on the wallbox model, and the conditon,  $75-150.


I think more grief than profit.

Sounds like I'll be picking up just a slider....unless the guy pulls more stuff out....

Sounds more like it, but I know nothing about jukes.

Let me clarify a little -
The plain wood cabinet the main unit is installed in is about 40"H x 36"W x 30"D. On the sides are 10" sq. cloth vents.
Inside there is a shelf - under the shelf is the amp and on top is player, which looks similar to what you normally see in the visible area of conventional 50's jukes.

Anyone got a pic of either?

That is not it.
On top of the shelf was the unit that is visible in jukes - the tone arm, platter and 50 slots behind.

That is not it either - unless the 100 Library Unit is vastly different from the 200.
This "thing" looked like someone took the guts of a 100 and maybe made their own cabinet for it. I did not see any markings on the cabinet itself. It was a floor model size box cabinet where the front and rear panel were both removable in order to service the unit. Selections were made using the wallbox and sound came only from the external speakers.

Based on your measurements and description, I would say it's a "hide-away" model and there are several models of the "hide-away". The one Creighton has displayed is different than the models I have seen. You need wall-boxes and remote speakers as there are no controls on the unit.
Tomorrow I can scan an image of one from a Seeburg manual if necessary... If you are just going to flip the "hide-away", don't expect too much because there really isn't a demand for them; only for parts as many had the same mechs/amps/selection receivers as their decorative counterparts we see everywhere, 100C, 100G/W, 100R, V-200, etc, etc...

I just pulled an image from a google search. May not be a hideaway, I don't know. Take some pics and someone can tell if any usable parts.

I'm with the others. its a hideaway... I had one years ago. All the guts stuffed into a box.

Good if you have a basement or garage that you want to leave it in and hook it up to a 3W1 for the kitchen etc. However, with all the updated gadgets on the market today its possible to run a wallbox from an i-pod with a vastly greater selection of music.

If its really cheap might be okay for parts too...

I am not going to touch it. I agree with you Dave on the gadgets of today.
Everything is so portable.

However, if someone does want it for the parts I'd be happy to pick it up for you. Let me know if you have an interest and I'll get some pics and a price point for you.

The humming from the pin sounds like the hold relay is out of adjustment. This relay is on all the time the pin is powered up, and if the spring is a little loose, the actuating plate vibrates against the coil causing the humming.
If the pin is complete, I would say go for it, it's probably worth $100-150 and with a bit of research, they are easy to fix.
