Title: cool coolers
Post by: vintage-air on January 23, 2011, 06:16:06 pm
Saw this fridge that sold at Barrett Jackson. Was this a factory option? Ha! Lot #5483... Sold for $15,500. Pretty good price too!

Looked like a good price for this coke cooler as well! All you gotta do is chrome your bottle opener!

All it needs is Carol Shelby's autograph that would increase the value even more! I wonder how fast it cools from 0 to 60?

Nice one brian! Found one here in my area for only $50 and it works! Looks like I have a pretty good profit margin! Check it out!

Old refridgerators are cool ever notice how small the freezer part is on them they didnt have all the frozen crap we have today. now a days everything is processed and frozen. I would love to have an old kelvinator.

The Shelby frig was featured on a local TV show....it is not a fantasy piece...hence the price!

Well that "Shelby" frig is the sorriest thing I've seen in a long time. Bet profit was 12k at least so I'm in the wrong business :-)

I know they range in price but I think that you can buy a Cobra replica kit car package with a 427 engine for what that fridge sold for.  I think I would have rather paid $150 and gotten to go over to Carol Shelby's house and look inside his home fridge.

I'm confused. Did Ford include a fridge with a purchase of a Cobra?

Thanks for the link!!
Guess the marketing is in a "Tribute" piece as opposed to "Fantasy" :-)
Cracks me up the phrases BJ comes up with.
427 cubic inch replica Cobra will set you back 40k minimum. Small block version not far from the price of that POS refrig.

Usually in the morning I have two children yapping, so it is hard to hear everything.
I thought it was some original item and not fabricated - I guess it paid off for him though.

Well, I love the theme for the shelby cool and the paint is amazing. Cut down the shifter handle, take off the ugly cobra nose on the bottom and it would be a lot nicer in my opinion. Sometimes, less is more!

The Theme is cool  but cut off that cobra nose  and take that gas cop off the top . My god that thing is just ugly.

But in that news clip  I would take that Big Boy . The sad part is I know where it came from  .

Did you know that a lot of the Big Boy statues are built in Michigan?
