Title: Vendo decorator price??????????????

I found someone locally selling a vendo 56 decorator for 200 even still working cooling etc the darker woodgrained one. My question is, Is this all that good of a deal? Frankly I think the machine is semi Ugly But then again 200 for another machine :-) and Im not sure if since they were ment for " classier" places if then less were made and thus would be worth more or not? thanks for any further Insight.

Personally, I think the decorator is completely worthless and not attractive at all...I think 200 is way too much...maybe 50 dollars but only for the bottle rack, shelves, and refrigeration for another machine. Use it as a parts machine if you can for a round top Vendo 56. I've seen the decorator on eBay for 50 dollars but no one bids on them..why? they're terrible looking!
"About a buck" is what I would pay. A guy drove from Texas to California to buy a soda fountain from me. He drove it in 3 days with his 77 year old mother. When he saw the machine (I sent him many, many unaltered pics), it suddenly did not meet his requirements. He wondered aloud, "I wonder what it is worth?"..as his mother crept up from behind and chimed in,"About a buck." She just crushed him.... anyway, about a buck is what I would pay for a decorator..but I aint driving three days to pick it up!
