Title: Transitional Machine Coin Door
Post by: TheGarbageHunter on January 01, 2011, 10:06:27 am
Hi Everyone,

Wondering if anyone knows if the coin door found on most transitional machines that operate with a mechanical coin mech (Trans 81/56) is the same size door used with the Vendo 81/56 1950's machines. I have one that came of a trans 56 machine but before I try and sell it I need to be 100% sure it will fit a vendo 81/56 1950's machine. I think years back SodaJerkWorks told me it will but it just needs to be modified??

It is the same however the holes for the bezel are different so a few need filled and a few need drilled to use the RT Vendo or VMC bezel. Its not a hard task and other than that it is 100% the same

Some transitional coin doors did not have the crank handle hole, but if it does then it is the same with the exceptions that Josh mentioned.
