Title: My December Pick Post by: TheGarbageHunter on December 29, 2010, 05:15:05 pm Thought I would share this with everyone. I bought my first Slider Machine. I have owned several round top 50's machines but never a slider.
This slider was listed on CL for around 6 months. Previous owner was asking 600.00 (His purchase price at a garage sale). Never sold until yesterday when he dramatically lowered the price. I figured I could not go wrong at his new price (w/Glen's and Terry's help!!). And so I am the new owner of and Ideal 35. It does cool, the coin mech works and it does have the rack. Its generic but looks like it was yellow at sometime, possible a Squirt Machine. I never paid much attention to these machines in the past but they are nice due to their small size and light weight. My first machine was a Vendo 83 compared to that this is as heavy as a 12oz soda. Check it out: Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: TheGarbageHunter on December 29, 2010, 05:19:33 pm 1 more pic:

Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: Slider-Bob on December 29, 2010, 05:46:19 pm Congrats on your purchase!
I also have one that I got from Johnie G a while back and mine is yellow, generic, all original and is an O-So Grape. I sent you a PM if you want pics of mine with the different coin box (camel hump type), and the 35 specific cap catcher. I too got one a little while back - it had been repainted as well. Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: Jim on December 29, 2010, 09:58:23 pm Congrats on a nice find ! ! !

Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: TheGarbageHunter on December 30, 2010, 06:58:30 am Thanks guys. It is so much fun hunting for machines, especially when you can get one for a good price. December has always been a good month for me.
Tom I do plan on keeping this one and I hope to someday restore it. This will someday be a Squirt machine. Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: SIGNGUY on December 30, 2010, 10:01:05 am Great Machine, I too have one, but missing the rack.. got it cheap too.. that is always fun...
will restore some day? :Oo: Title: Re: My December Pick Post by: Crazzy Canuck on December 31, 2010, 11:06:34 am Congrats on the 35. Great little machines with a small foot print. I used to buy a lot of these way back and it seemed like 2 guys always showed up with them and they were from North Dakota and NewBraska.
