Title: His and Her's Theator and JR with gum wheels done... Mostly
Post by: ducatihummer on December 20, 2010, 11:16:25 am
Just wanted to share some pics of newest toys compleated. Just in time for our Holiday party this weekend. they were a big hit with the kids, and adults...

I had to clean up the basement for the party, so instead of just moving the pieces one more time, Just spent the hours finishing these up. They came out nice. I just have to put some finishing touches on them. Does anyone know someone that would make the candy display area decal on the JR with gum wheel?

Here are a few pics...

Looks great Frank! Love that Junior with gum wheel!
I imagine Curtis is your best bet for any Stoner related decals. Don't know of anyone else off hand.

John, I have the gum wheel decal, the one I need made is the one for the candy display area. They don't make a five selection one. I have a local guy that may be able to do it, but was looking for another option.

Thanks Tom, yeah my daughter loves that one... I let her pick how she wanted it painted.

Can't you buy a six selection decal and cut one of the windows off the end? They should be the same size. I guess you would have to piece the end back on though. It could be done if your patient enough and if you can't find one to fit.

Frank,

Excellent work!  Both machines look great!

Try Curtis for the sticker.  I suspect he will have it or know where you can get it.

Oh yeah, kinda forgot about that.. I have the decals for the 6 pull., but I have a Stoner Jr with gum wheel as well that I'll be restoring..

like oscar said, have you tried a 6 and cut it down? or is the sizing different? I'll have to look now to think if it.. I have an extra 6 and will measure it..

I'll talk to my guy who makes them as well, and see..

John

I thought about cutting a six pull, however there are words across the top that would be cut off. Not to mention that the fresh candy would then be off centered. I was half debating on trying to scan one I have and move the wording to the right and cut off the left display... Not sure how that would come out. I was hoping someone had the template and could do it easily.  :darn:

I'm going to send BITW an email at some point since that is where I got all the other decals. I'm hoping they can just print one out with minor adjustment...

Thanks for the compliments. I really like how they came out. I'm slowing getting done some projects. It just takes me a long time with work and the family. Not to mention the war department.  :tounge: cause once they are done, I need to put them out somewhere in the house.

Wow! Those look great!

Do you need the "Candy Is Energy Food" or 10/5 Cent Price Tag cardstock inserts for your Junior? Let me know if you do.
