Title: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 08, 2010, 08:33:44 pm Is there a ggod way to fix a warped door? I was thinking of getting the door closed and wrapping a strap around it for a couple of days. Will that work?
Any help is appreciated...... Title: Re: Warped door Post by: glenp87 on December 08, 2010, 08:37:18 pm Warped V80 main door? Mine was warped....before I put anything together, I laid the main cabinet (on its back (with the main door on its hinges and no insulation or small door) and carefully and slowly bent it back into shape. Fits perfectly now. Need to be careful not to break the hinges.

Title: Re: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 08, 2010, 10:44:58 pm Glen do you have a pic of your coin mech? I think I may not have the right on in my machine. Then one that's in mine is mostly plastic.

Title: Re: Warped door Post by: SIGNGUY on December 09, 2010, 10:37:37 am Have you recently taken teh door liner off and put it or new one back on?
First time I ever restored a machine, didn't realize or think to lay the door perfectly flat and put on the liner and the door was twisted, had to remove and redo. Title: Re: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 09, 2010, 12:03:12 pm I did just replace the liner. Wow that is weird. Do I need to take the door off the hinges? If so how easy is that?
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: glenp87 on December 09, 2010, 12:12:02 pm Door simply lifts off the hinges - straight up (pinned hinges)....make sure the wires for the Vend Motor are disconnected
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 09, 2010, 12:48:26 pm Great thanks Glen and John. I'll try that tonight when I get home.
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: sodaworks on December 09, 2010, 07:06:21 pm Loosen up the liner screws and shift into alignment. Retighten screws. T
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 09, 2010, 07:08:13 pm I don't have to remove the liner or door?
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: SIGNGUY on December 10, 2010, 09:23:40 am It might be easier to remove the door and lay it on some saw horses so it's flat. then make your adjustments like indicated.
Title: Re: Warped door Post by: Chris on December 10, 2010, 08:32:48 pm So I removed the door and adjusted the new liner and the door fits great now. Thanks guys!

Title: Re: Warped door Post by: sodaworks on December 11, 2010, 04:55:21 pm In the future just leave the door on the machine. It's easier for me that way.T
