It doesn't have the holes in the back that will allow the 12 oz. bottles to be loaded bottle neck first. The 81 looks like it has been repainted on the exterior with overspray on the main door gasket.
Both look like nice complete originals though. I would agree with MoonDawg on which machine to put the money on though. There are a lot of V-39's out there and even though this one is in good shape, others will come along.
