Title: Lonergan royal crown cooler
Post by: on March 15, 2004, 06:14:45 pm
I recently bought an old RC cooler.  There is a picture of one under Lonergan on this site.  It says this company and cooler are unknown.  From reading the tag on mine, it was made in Albion, Mich.  Its serial no. is 9078.  From the square shape of the "C" in cola, I'd guess it's pre WWII, but I'm not an expert.  My cooler doesn't have legs, although they look easy enough to make or use old stove legs.  I was just looking for any further info on its age, possible value, the Lonergran Co., and possibly an RC expert to advise the correct colors for a restoration.  Thanks for any help.

Could you possibly post a photo to see your model...?
