Title: v39 main door removal Post by: VMAXMAN on November 03, 2010, 06:23:05 pm Do you have to remove the hinges or can you pop out the pin like on door hinges?
Title: Re: v39 main door removal Post by: loman4ec on November 03, 2010, 06:25:26 pm I may be wrong but I am pretty sure the door just lifts off. Just pick up the main door and it just comes off of the hinges.

Title: Re: v39 main door removal Post by: VMAXMAN on November 03, 2010, 08:46:42 pm mine must be really stuck!
it opens and closes freely but wont budge! I soaked them in industrial penetrating oil....hopefully that will do the trick! thanks again people! Title: Re: v39 main door removal Post by: SIGNGUY on November 04, 2010, 08:34:12 am open it all the way, and lift while swinging it back and forth... sometiems the hinges get bent, and will need some force to get it off, but it will lift off eventually it's the only way they are put on.

I've had it happen a few times and been caught off guard not thinking when re-assembling and painting.
Title: Re: v39 main door removal Post by: collecture on November 04, 2010, 02:34:11 pm As rusty as your machine was, you might think about just removing the hinge from the cabinet and door as one piece - it unbolts from the inside. You might have an easier time this way of separating the two halves.
