Great stuff!  I can't believe how clean your garage is... mine looks like a hardware store exploded whenever I need to work on anything.  Then, when we put our cars in the garage, I have to put everything away.  There's barely room to move.  I guess that's the price of living near the coast where you can't have a basement.

Thats a great looking 55 chev. When I was growing up my Dad and I built several 55 and 57 chevy's. Our first was a 57 4 door sedan in tropical turquoise and india Ivory. Although it was a 6 cylinder it was a fantastic car. We did a frame up restoration first and it got a bronze award at the tri chev nationals and Dad wanted a gold so we tore it apart and did a frame off restoration leaving only the paint and interior alone which had been done perfectly. It scored a platinum the next year at the national and got best engine and best interior. Second we built a 57 Nomad wagon in solid white. It was a beautiful car. It was purchased by the president of Chrysler credit for his museum third  we built a mild custom 55 2 door sedan in a custom royal blue and white with a 350, 350 turbo It was a nice driver, then last we built a 57 2 door hardtop in matador red. It was also bought by the Chrysler guy as well. We took it to one show and it scored 997 out of 1000 at the CCI internationals. I will try to find some pictures. I miss building cars. I wish my Dad would move back home and we could do another father son project.

Can you post some more pics of your 55? I love the solid black paint. It is very aggressive looking. My father loved the 57's but I really prefer the 55's.

Super car! It is my dream to get a tri-five Chevy before I retire. And yeah, cars like that look great in a garage full of old coke machines and gas pumps.

Thanks for sharing.
