They usually hook up the Thursday night before the show, and then they get up early Friday morning to start their picking in the parking lot.

The show is November 12th, 13th & 14th - 2010.

It will be Thursday, as many , including me, only come Thursday afternoon/eve, Dinner, sleep, shop early friday and leave friday afternoon.. some of course stay Friday and go Saturday too, and if it's your first show you'll want to do that of course...

but pretty sure a bunch of us will be getting together again for Dinner on Thursday,, Portillos works, because its not a sit down type of dinner thing, as that could could complicated, it's a counter order type of place and bring back to our tables....

I'm sure there will more discussions about that soon.

John

Hi Guys! I will be there again this year and this year I will make dinner!!! I will be selling off about 8-10 machines. Most of them Stoners, including a theater. I just don't have time to get to them and I need some extra cash!!

As of now, looks like I am bringing two Stoner Jr's, 4-5 180's with gum wheel. Stoner theater, complete U-Select on stand (clean and original), Stoner coffee machine (which I think is sold to a member here already), Vendo Candy machine, Barq's slider (Pat you still interested??), tons of old 7UP signs, clocks and etc. Basically, most of what is left of my 7up collection and the machines I have in Michigan.

Yeah it's early Friday, but it's fun.. typically I hit it around 5 and there are usually a few trailes opened by then... it seems to get earlier each year, of course weather plays a part as well..

I may be bringing a trailer full as well to sell.. mostly 81's , sliders, some candy machines, stoners, u select its, few gas pumps, and some signs... we'll see

I have never been to the Trade Show but looking at the information, I am thinking I am going to try and make it.  So, do many of you do your restorations to specifically sell at this show? and is all the items already restored or is a mix of both unrestored/restored.

The show is kinda split in two parts. The Friday part which starts out early is primarily unrestored stuff, sure there is stuff restored, but most of that goes inside for the "Actual" show that starts on Saturday-Sunday. Inside is where you'll see all the really nice restored stuff.

something else to consider, browsing the parking lot on Friday morning is free. To enter the building on friday cost 50.00 dollars, but the wrist band is valid for all 3 days. If you wait till Saturday to enter the ehibit hall/building, I believe it is omly 7.00 dollars for either day Saturday or sunday.
