Title: Re: Best price guide? Post by: mznb1u on September 19, 2010, 09:52:30 am Classic Soda Machines by Jeff Walters is a good reference but as has been pointed out, the 3rd Edition is the most recent printing and that was in 1999. Still a great reference and very helpful with identifying machines and their relative rarity. The prices given are obviously not up-to-date but with the downturn in the market, they are not that far off in my experience. That is unless you are on The History Channel! 8)

Pettretti's guide will give you a good idea about the different signs and other items, but I don't think it would be good for machines. When I was big into signs, it came in handy knowing dates, originals or not, different styles, approx. values. |
