Title: do you know a woodgrain millionaire? Post by: aristocrat on September 14, 2010, 08:35:57 am surely you must know one of these woodgrain millionaires? sitting on their huge yacht at their private island retreat.... sipping cocktails and enjoying the finest food and wines..... all due to their 'insight' that people and businesses in the 1960's and 70's would want to cover everything that was not at the time already covered in woodgrain...with woodgrain there must be hundreds and hundreds of them but you never hear of them, they are not famous or well known, just silence they should be forced to finance by retrospective tax to pay for all my injuries and wasted hours in removing this stuff.... anyway heres the latest project... 1 down and 2 machines to go....... just think if we had had google earth in the early 70's then all we would see would be vrious shades of.... dirty brown striped colour Title: Re: do you know a woodgrain millionaire? Looks great! Title: Re: do you know a woodgrain millionaire? Post by: aristocrat on September 14, 2010, 02:52:35 pm they are cast bezels with simple pins or lugs on the reverse that
go thru the door panel and are secured by 'clips' these are three machines i got in a parcel of x18 the Aristocrat Sheerline was one of their first models but sadly is not collectable in England and are worth very little, however if you ever see one of these then give me a call or on second thoughts just buy it and then give me a call GP |
