Hi all. I am new to the forum and this is my first post. I my dad had a Cavalier C51 coke machine that stopped cooling a few years ago. Recently I had a certified refrig repairman come to take a look and after quite a bit of troubleshooting determined the compressor is bad. The question is what should I do about getting a new compressor. The lower and upper fans both run so would it be better to get just the compressor, or replace the entire lower unit that slides out? Does anyone know where I can order it so that it matches up with this specific machine? Also what size compressor, hp wise, is needed to replace the bad one. I am looking forward to to any advice of suggestions anyone can give. Thanks!

Where are you located? I have a C-51 compressor assembly that was working when removed from a rusted out machine years ago. All you would need to do is add both fans. I could send it to Eric (or whoever) to check everything out and get it up to snuff. You pay shipping and it is yours. I can get some pics tomorrow if you want - LMK. Tom
