Title: Coke Refilled in New Mexico?
Post by: dr galaga on August 27, 2010, 05:43:37 pm
Just read this article (http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/your_money/brewery-is-last-with-returnable-bottles-20100818-apx).

Does someone have their facts messed up? It states in there that, "LeRoy Telstad said his Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Winona, Minn., is one of only two bottlers in the U.S. that still produces Coke in returnables. The other is in New Mexico." I bet they mean Mexico. Anyone know more?

I'll have to do some research, now that I live in New Mexico!

Im in Albucracky, I mean Albuquerque.  I have never seen bottles filled in the Coke plant here. Yes we do have bottlers in New Mexico, but I am sure they meant Mexico.  I see those everywhere out here.
