I have been having problems with my evaporator icing over and thought at first it was my thermostat. I put in a new t-stat and it still is happening. Could I be low on freon? Check and make sure your evaporator fan that sits directly behind the evaporator is turning freely and fast. Title: Re: Is this a freon port someone tapped in? Post by: jimstl99 on August 17, 2010, 06:43:31 pm Just checked both fans and they seem to be working as they should.
Next step? Thanks again. Jim Title: Re: Is this a freon port someone tapped in? Post by: johnieG on August 17, 2010, 08:05:21 pm Find out where the outside air is leaking in, Main-door gasket, Bottle-door gasket, etc
