Title: LINE-X on inside of 81 shell Post by: photogman on July 13, 2010, 08:38:49 pm Anybody spray on LINE-X or the RHINO bed liner stuff to totally protect the inside of the machine as part of a restoration? That stuff will protect about anything. I have LINE-X in the back of my pickup and it is guaranteed for life. Would it present any problems inside a Vendo 81?

I also have Line-X in the bed of my truck and much better than Rhino. I have compared both and Line-X aways looks the best. I have a Rhino dealer here and drove all the way to Nashville to get the Line-X in my '86 Chevy Short Bed. Worth the dive. MO

It is cheap and protects the metal from rusting if there is condensation. I wonder why they didn't do it from the factory. There would be a lot less rusted out machines if they would have. However I doubt they figured 50 years later people would be rebuilding them for their houses.
