Assuming you're talking about embossed lettering? If you have a steady hand, you can do it, Or find a local sign painter. The template can be made if you have time or patience without knowing how detailed it is, hard to make suggestions Title: Re: caviler picnic cooler Post by: gasmelincelr on July 08, 2010, 08:36:47 pm On my next restoration I am going to basecoat the lettering white, then clearcoat the lettering, then red basecoat the whole thing, wet sand through the red base on the lettering until i hit the clear, then clear the whole thing. I am not sure if it will work, but trying to paint embossing has been the weak point of my restorations thus far.
