Post by: collecture on July 04, 2010, 10:10:19 am I feel your pain GP, well sort of...my wife says I fall in love with everything. I buy it intending to resell it, but never do.
I have sold a few items over the years that I regret though. Looks like you got a good price for it! Title: Re: sad day yesterday.................. Post by: Kilroy on July 04, 2010, 10:56:24 am My condolence Prince, but it sounds like she's going to a good home.
Title: Re: sad day yesterday.................. Post by: aristocrat on July 04, 2010, 11:38:58 am yes nice chap bought it. we had a lot of............
fun........................ i think it was.................... trying to load it into his van as they are very heavy. we [i mean he] jacked the front wheel end up on blocks and then reversed the van til the vanfloor was under the bumper car front wheel, then wedged wooden floorboard planks from the van floor to the right and left rear wheels then lifted the rear of the bumper car pushing it forward at sametime and it just rolled up the two planks into the van............ i was very sceptical but he was sure it would and it did....................................................mind you he was built like a bull................. a very big bull! |
