Title: Coke machine not working??? Post by: coop6008 on June 24, 2010, 03:23:28 pm I was given this coke machine and every time I plug it in it throws a breaker in my homes fuse box. Can anyone help?

Title: Re: Coke machine not working??? Post by: tkaz on June 24, 2010, 08:39:07 pm One thing to try is to turn the thermostat to the off position, then try plugging it in. This can isolate a few different circuits, specifically the compressor and lower fan unit.

( or did it ever work would be the better question) as suggested, you can trun the thermostat to the off position ( fully anti-clockwise/left) or some compressors have a plug on a what looks like a short little extension cord that plugs into the main wiring harness socket, you can also just unplug it at that point to help isolate the trouble, also if that doesn't work, you can unplug the coinmech too. next I'd disconnect the light-up sign's harness ( a bad ballast will cause lots of trouble)
I was wondering is you circuit breaker for that plug a standard 15/20 amp type or is it a GFI type? |
